How long will my order take?

Your order will generally ship within ten business days.  If you would like your stone to be shipped sooner than this please contact us and we will try and work with your needs.


Can I receive a proof of my stone before I place my order?

Yes.  Simply specify that you would like to see a proof and make sure that you include your e-mail address or a fax number with this request.


What do I do if I have a question about the ordering process?

You can reach us through the Contact Us page or by calling 1-800-878-6631.  If you end up getting our voicemail will we return your call as soon as possible.


Can I use your graphic but make adjustments?

Absolutely.  We can make the tail longer, the ears shorter, etc. on any of our graphics.


What if I have my own custom artwork?

We specialize in custom artwork.  You can send us the graphic by fax or as an E-Mail Attachment and we will work with it and send you a proof for your approval.  Personal photos may also be sent through the mail and we will return the photo with your stone.  Please contact us for custom artwork pricing – usually it’s a small, additional fee.


Can I put two images on one stone?  Can I put two font styles on one stone?

Yes.  Please contact us by phone or e-mail and we will make sure the order is exactly as you want it.


What’s the difference between ‘engraving’ and ‘bas relief?’

‘Bas Relief’ is when the image and/or lettering are raised from the surface of the stone; ‘Engraving’ is when the image and/or lettering are cut into the stone.  The raised surfaces of a ‘bas relief’ are protected by a clear varnish.  The engraved portions of a stone are filled with a weather-resistant black paint.


Where does the stone come from?

Our bluestone is quarried from the Endless Mountain Region of Northern Pennsylvania.


How do I care for my stone?  Can I put my stone outside?

Under direct sunlight, the clear varnish can begin to fade over time.  Simply apply any clear varnish (found in a hardware store) to the surface of the lettering and allow it to dry overnight.  In the spring, you can simply clean your stone with soap and water to remove any dirt or debris.


Can I enclose a personal note with my order?

Yes.  Simply use the comments section of the order form and we will include your personal note with your order.


Why are we different from other engravers?

We create each of our products in our own studio.  This allows us to keep our prices low and provide you with very personal service.  We are a family-owned and operated business and we have been engraving for almost twenty years.


What if my stone arrives damaged, misspelled, or with the wrong picture?

All of our products are 100% guaranteed.  If a mistake has been made, or your stone arrives damaged, we will replace your stone at no cost to you.


I’m doing a fundraiser for my school (church, non-profit, etc.) what’s the procedure for this?
